Just finished up this portrait last week before we went out of town. The photo was beautiful; Laika was standing in front of a lake and there was some branches in front of her. I didn't even have to exaggerate the beautiful turquoise-blue of the lake - it was that gorgeous in the photo! And, it just pops with the browns in Laika's fur and the bright chartreuse of the leaves.
This portrait is an 8x10" which really showcases the beautiful dog and background! Any smaller would not do it justice. I am now working on a portrait of Laika's brother from another mother ... a small white pup named Wally. I will share his portrait soon; once I finish it!
