First off, as usual, I have been juicing every morning. My favorite combo (in order of volume of ingredients) is kale, cucumber, apple, orange, and parsley. Throughout the day, I have been drinking water with cucumber slices - I just try to constantly sip on this. I have been also enjoying water with lime and fizzy water with lime. I have been avoiding coffee, as well.
Unfortunately, my plan was to have several large salads filled with hydrating greens and I have only had one salad this week because I have had many lunch and dinner plans where I am eating out.
I have been hydrating on my bike by drinking a homemade electrolyte drink that I am totally hooked on (John swears by it too). Give it a try:
- 2 cups water
- 2 tblsp coconut water powder
- juice of 2 limes
- 1/8 tsp pink sea salt
- 1/2-1 tblsp
agave nectarraw local honey
This electrolyte drink tastes delicious, doesn't have any artificial ingredients, has no refined sugar, and hydrates like no other!
With two more days to go in my week-long hydration effort, I want to drink even more pure water (with cucumber or lime).

Chloe! What about the agave nectar!! maybe I could substitute honey? Mike insists that agave nectar is not good for you and extremely hard for your body to digest . . .
Yes, I am trying to avoid agave nectar ... trying to use up the last little bit that I have. I agree, honey would be a better choice - and raw honey would be the best choice.
