custom design :: little john's birth announcements

Last week I sent off little John's birth  announcements, which I designed {of course}.

I went with a simple, modern design which announces "he's here" and which might be a little reminiscent of my *REMEMBER  the day* designs.

The photo was taken by my very talented sister, Jonna; and little John is about a week old in the photo.

I used the back of the announcement as an opportunity to update our family and friends with our new address. Also, I created a shortened URL    {http://bit.ly/johnmarty} that links to a stream of all the photos I have taken of little John on Instagram {hashtagged #johnraphaelmarty}.

For the envelope, I did a custom photo stamp {with another photo Jonna took} and I also did some custom wrap-around labels. The red envelope color matches the red "he's here."
