now + later

This time of year I always start thinking ahead to my fall wardrobe ... I typically try to hold off on purchasing much so that I do my shopping when the actual season is here otherwise I find that I end up purchasing something I don't end up wearing often.

An exception are is this outfit ... Joe's Skinny Ankle Jeans in Grey - got these a couple of weeks ago and they are great. They have a nice stretch to them and I love the ankle length. I have been wearing them with my trusty favorite tank, the James Perse Daily Tank in Black (surprised? I think not.). However, I also purchased this Clea Pocket Tee from Anthropologie that I like with these jeans. This tee is a really cute, looser one; and I love the pockets and back button details.

For early fall when it is still warm out, these jeans and tee are perfect paired with Belle by Sigerson Morrison Rank Sandals. Later when things get cooler, I will put on this Flickered Cocoon Cardigan from Anthropologie and pair the look with some booties, like Steve Madden's Panelope.

I also love 7 for all Mankind's gray ankle jeans with ankle zips ... they are even softer and stretchier than the Joe's (maybe I even like them better).
