While designing this month's calendar, I had Thanksgiving in mind ... or maybe it would be more accurate to say that I had thanksgiving in mind; not capitalized because it wasn't so much the holiday I had in mind but the act of thoughtful reflection on the people and circumstances in my life that I am thankful for.
Ash at Blog a la Cart has had an eventful year over on her farm ... eventful in very difficult ways, but as life goes, with lots of joyful moments thrown in. I thought a lot about her and her family as designed this calendar. And, also I thought a lot about my own circumstances. November is a good reminder for me to stop and be mindful.
