It is so hard to go back to bundling up after you get a taste of spring weather! This past weekend we had awesome warm weather and today it is back to rain and snow.
However, on the days of recent where we have been getting glimpses of spring weather, my spring wardrobe has come out in full force. This year, I am finding that my wardrobe consists of comfortable pieces that allow for maximum movement and least amount of fuss ... the reason should be obvious - from carting around my 22 pound babe, getting down on the ground to play with him, maneuvering at the park, grocery store, you name it with him. Bottom line: comfort is key. Fuss-free is key. Fashion is still a consideration.
So, I usually start with a comfy tee or tank. I am loving the Madewell Draft Tank - it is one of those pieces that I have snapped up in several colors. I also love this Truly Madly Deeply tee from Urban Outfitters; it is likely my favorite boyfriend v-neck.
Add a hoodie. I am loving Aviator Nation for their cool, casual, worn-just-right style. I have a couple of their hoodies on order and I really dig the Locals Only Hoodie.
Skinny jeans with stretch for days are a must. I got these Joie So Real Cargo Skinny pants a couple of weeks ago and I LOVE them. They are so cute and have a great stretch to them.
Lastly, who would have every thunk it, but I actually own and wear Birkenstocks. Hell is still hot, pigs still do not fly, and I wear Birks.
