My sister's wedding is very small and intimate; we are talking only immediate family. So, the guests (there will be a whopping 8 guests) are really kind of the wedding party as well. I am a guest, the sister of the bride, and bridesmaid. I have been shopping for dresses for the rehearsal dinner and ceremony for a couple of months and I finally found the "ones."
For the rehearsal dinner, I got the Lovers + Friends I Heart Babydoll dress. I am not usually a fan of shift dresses, but the drop waist on this one gives it just enough shape. For the ceremony I got the Leifsdotter Three Act Maxi dress. I love the colors of this dress and the shape is very feminine. Also, it is maxi length but not too long that you cannot wear it with flats.
On my feet, I am wearing the Matt Bernson KM Gladiator Sandals with both dresses. I also found two bracelets I like, the Large Flat Link Lobster Claw Clasp Bracelet and the Skinny Railroad Spike Cuff.
My clothing for the festivities is in the bag!

Hooray!! I'm so happy for you and the realization/feeling/moment associated with this half!!! Remember when I said- "3 months" -give yourself 3 months and you'll have more self confidence than ever, after having a baby?? Well, so, my timing was wrong...but, at least now you know *exactly* what I mean!!!! {and who knows if that was right for me timing wise either...I don't have a moment where I realized it like you}. Anyway, I'm happy happy you've felt it now. Some things simply cannot measure up to/take away from our accomplishments as a mom; despite the challenges we face and how hard we can be on ourselves...congratulations!

They're both so cute and how great to be in a wedding and really get to love the clothes you have to buy. You'll get lots of use out of both of these. Sister weddings are THE BEST!

I think you are right; I will get to actually wear both of these more than once! :) That is typically not the case ... even really cute bridesmaid dresses can look too "bridesmaid-y" to be able to wear them again.
