Is it possible that a child grows literally overnight? I know that is an anecdote people use, but I would wager that it is actually true. When I go get Raffa in the morning, I can see changes in him - taller, leaner, more hair, longer hair, new sound, new facial expression.

This photo is from Raffa's lunch with papa ... most days my dad eats his lunch on our front porch and Raffa joins him and mooches Papa's chips. This lunchtime date has occurred on and off since Raffa was born, it just used to take place indoors during the winter. It is quite the special little ritual, made all the more precious since Raffa gets excited about it now.
