another new look // new +chloe logo

You may or may not have noticed, but I have a new logo! As I alluded to back in July in this post, my rebranding of my graphic design business and web presence would also include some eventual changes here on +chloe. The first of those changes is the logo, which has been up for about a week. And, next up I am in the process of making some changes to the rest of the design of the blog.

 A little about the new logo ... as I mentioned the previous logo was just not feeling like it was "me." I have followed Jeremy Booth and his work for about a year now, and when I saw him post a hand lettered logotype he had done for his wife on his Instagram, I knew I needed him to do my +chloe logo.

The process was difficult for me because although I had an idea of the direction I wanted to go (hand lettered, more edgy than previous logos, black and white, imperfect...), I really didn't know what that should look like. Jeremy worked with me until we finalized the logo you see now, which notably replaces the "and" or "&" with a "+"; and which has that edgier, black and white, imperfect, and hand lettered look I desired.

I love Jeremy's work, and look forward to finding an excuse to work with him again in the future.

In other, non-logo related news ... we are heading to Durango tomorrow and will be there for a couple of weeks. As usual, we are looking forward to it and expect an increase in my Instagram activity. Are you on Instagram? Follow me, and then let me know so I can follow you back!
