small fry films: marty family

Way back in April, we went to Salt Lake City to have Jenner Brown make a short film for Small Fry Blog's Day In the Life film series. I had entered to win the video when Small Fry was giving away the change to be a part of a Small Fry film; and I was utterly surprised and over the moon when they choose us.

We had such a blast in Salt Lake City filming with Jenner. And we have been so excited ever since, anxiously waiting to see the final result. Last night we got work from Emily at Small Fry that the video would be done today and up on Small Fry Blog; and then this morning Jenner emailed over the HD video for our keepsake.

Oh. My. Gawd. I am in LOVE. This is such a special keepsake; a moment in time in the life of our little family. Raffa was 11 months old when we shot the film, and now he is almost 19 months. The film captures so many of the little mannerisms that hallmarked that time in his baby life; mannerisms that are long gone now that he is a toddler. But this film will forever be a treasured keepsake to remember that sweet baby Raffa.

I am just watching this on repeat and making anyone and everyone I know watch it, too. I am so grateful to Small Fry and Jenner for this amazing keepsake. My heart is so full. That chubby Raffa! That smile; that furrowed brow; that curiosity and concentration. That laugh.  My baby.
