The Big Wonderful
Today we took the boys to The Big Wonderful in RiNo. RiNo is an industrial neighborhood slash arts district just north and east of downtown Denver. It is a unique mix of industrial relics, art studios, breweries, coffee shops, and hip restaurants. The Big Wonderful, held in a mulched open space, is a marketplace with everything from local artists, food trucks, produce vendors, and live music.
We had been wanting to check it out for a while, and finally made it down there today (perhaps on the hottest day ever!). Turns out The Big Wonderful felt a little more booze-focused (a place for people to go hang out and drink) versus the farmers market I was envisioning. But, the boys had a blast eating a Hawaiian-style snow cone (ice cream on the bottom, marshmellow topping drizzled on top) and dancing/jumping to the live music.
